Rachel Conn Profile
Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and arrived in Cambridge in 1983. Since then, Rachel has worked as a partner in two large law firms in Cambridgeshire and run her own niche practice.
In 1991 Rachel became a member of STEP, (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), and in 1992 qualified as a member of ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians).
In March 2011 Rachel became one of the first students nationally to obtain a Distinction in the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation.
Whether tax is involved or not, Rachel believes that the way each case is handled can reduce any anxiety and take the fear out of the unknown. This is done by listening to what each client wants to achieve, supplying a reality check, and a time scale.
Making a valid will or trust, or getting probate is not so hard. In Rachel’s experience, it is often ignorance of the law or family problems which hold people back.
Finding out your options can empower you to move forward.
